At the deep level, Qi travels along the channels inter connecting the zang fu organs in the Shen - Ko cycles.
At the superficial level, Qi flows along a system of conduits or channels called JING.They are the twelve bilateral channels.
There are several short collateral channels called as LUO or connecting channels which maintain the cyclic flow of Qi in the body.
All these channels and collaterals are collectively named as JING - LUO. They form the interlacing network which traverses the entire body carrying the vital qi to every part of the body.
