• WOOD'S terror is that it will be denied growth, a bud forever closed.
•FIRE'S terror is that it might never know what LOVE is, its HEART eternally cold.
• EARTH'S terror is that it will be left unquickened, unable to bear fruit.
• METAL'S terror is that it is only ever a breath's - breadth away from death.
• WATER'S terror is that it will be hemmed in, unable to flow and drown in itself.
The CHALLENGES for each element at the moment of death:
• WOOD would like to say, "I gave the world more shape."
• FIRE would like to say, "1 made the world the happiest place.'
• EARTH would like to say, "I gave the world greater understanding.
• METAL would like to say, "I gave the world more meaning.'
•WATER would like to say, "| survived.
