One is the Palpitation of local areas on the body that are painful, inflammed, swollen or hot, in order to determine the nature of a local disorder.
The second form of Palpitation is at specific points on the front and back of the trunk of the body. Usually, a point where an acupuncture master senses a "collapsed feeling is most likely to indicate disease in the related internal organ.
The third category is the palpitation of the pulse. There are many places on the body to feel the palpitation of the pulse. On the neck, wrist, ankle and hip.
Diagnosis by pulse is a subtle art, and requires an enormous amount of concentration and experience inorder to acquire the sensitivity necessary to obtain the correct results
